Is this price right for a 2008 Mini convertible?

Good morning everyone, I was looking for a car since my old one is about to give up and I found a 2008 mini convertible (NOT S) for about $18k with only 3000 miles, it looks pretty neat but since I do not know much about minis I do not know if the price is right. Any insight? I appreciate it.
I forget to add that it seems to have all the bells and whistles as far as options as for example leather interior, keyless entry. (if you call those bells and whistles)

That’s an excellent price. Better make sure the car has not been wrecked, has frame damage, a salvage title, or water damage. Have the car inspected by a mechanic or the MINI dealer. Run a Carfax or Autocheck on it. If it all checks out, grab it.

How can Verizon charge Tax on retail price,not discount price?

I paid 50. to upgrade my phone w/two yr. contract. But was charge 22$ tax on the full retail price of 250.$. I do not understand how this is legal. If I buy a new pair of jeans on sale, I only pay tax on the sale price. right? If you know how I can research the legalities of this practice let me know. Thanks

In some cases, and some states, tax is charged on the full amount as required by law. Was it sales tax or excise tax? Excise tax is a federal tax and is based on the retail amount in MOST CASES.
Check the tax laws.

We are quiet to push lowering taxi fares while oil prices return to its original low price..right or wrong?

When the oil prices go high, taxi drivers/operators demanded to increase taxi fare which has been approved and enforced causing pain to each of every consumer. But now the oil price return to its normal price, is it just to be quiet while we carrying the unjust fares?

1) Taxi fares were too low to begin with. The insurance and maintenance expense of operating a taxi keeps going up.
2) There is no "normal" price for crude oil.
3) If you don’t like the fares, drive your own vehicle.
