Why is it on Deal or No Deal, Noel always asks, "Have you come with a system of play or strategy?" I mean WTF. It’s simple, it doesn’t matter what system you come with, the money could be in absoloutely any one of those 22 boxes. So why do they seem to think this "Strategy" Bulls**t works or is going to win them £250,000 ? "Oh yh i’m going to pick them in the sequence of 2,4,6,8,10 then 1,3,5,7 up to 22 because that will definitely win me the biggest prize! Anyone else get pissed off with this ?
hi there.
There IS a strategy, you need to work out the average win (£6000) and then decide how much abovethat you will deal at (given the chance).
As the game progresses thee odds of improving/worsening your situation do change, so basic maths will guide you – but you are very right, random in the end.
If I was on it – don’t be greedy! Once in 5 figures, cash in straight away.
Cheers, Steve.
Right most people will tell you that you need to be very smart but the way to get lots of money you have just got to get around the banker and have a sad story! sooooo. . . . just think what boxes you will choose before you go on to the show!!!!!!!!!

It does not bother me.
People are greedy, that is what makes a show like that entertaining.

He asks because a lot of people do have a system of play. It is ridiculous though to keep back boxes until the end because the number is someone’s birthday! My lucky number is 4 and that would be the only box I might keep – the rest I would go on instinct of which order to open them in as it is totally random anyway. I don’t get pissed off with it because it is up to the individual how they want to play it.
