Gates Belt Drive drivetrain uses a belt instead of a chainthis system is exceptionally long lasting, virtually maintenance free and nearly silent. Belt Drive system doesn’t require lubrication, meaning no greasy chain to deal with; just in case, the full-lengh chainguard prevents clothing from getting caught in drive. Shimano Nexus 3-speed internally geared rear hub features 3 handy gears for getting around town; shifting is a breeze with a simple turn of the twist shifter. Tektro linear-pull brakes provide easy management of speed; fast-rolling 700c wheels are outfitted with tough hybrid tires to keep you rolling smoothly around town.
