No I disagree with Dr. Paul on this one, while I am a big supporter of him, I do not agree with this statement
Link me up, Scotty.

I agree, in the sense that the only danger we face is the incapability to invade and/or manipulate that country…

I agree, why should this be any different?

Kind of. Eventually, many countries will have the technology. It will be more portable and compact. Best to take care of the regime first.

China having them and North Korea having them are not even the same thing.
China can be reasoned with.
North Korea’s Dear Leader ain’t quite all there.
Ahmadeinijad is in the same catagory as Kimmy.

Well it’s no worse than North Korea getting them, but it’s no better either! North Korea is run by a nutcase who could conceivable decide to use his nukes on Seoul. Likewise, Iran is run by a fundamentalist religious nutcase who could decide to nuke Israel some day. Both are pretty bad scenarios. Both could also conceivably try to get a nuke into the hands of a terrorist group that could use it against the US. No sane leader would ever risk attacking the US openly – that would be national suicide, as we still have THOUSANDS of nukes in our arsenal – but a crazy dictator is another story.

Yes I agree with him. Iran is no threat to the U.S. or Israel. Neocon propaganda, they want another preemptive war.

Everybody keep saying that Iran is getting nukes. Ron Paul is entitled to his opinion.
References :
Iran, as much as they appear to be, isn’t a radical terrorist regime. Use of those weapons would be a dangerous mistake because the United States and NATO are hundreds of times more powerful and technologically advanced than Iran. This will provide more than enough incentive to stay (somewhat) peaceful.

Ron Paul also said he saw a UFO
I stopped listening to him after that.

It is more of a problem because of Iran’s location near the oil the world economy depends on. That is a nuclear war in the middle east would hurt us more than one in Korea. But I think we are making too big is deal over it. Iran is basically a conservative society ruled by cautious old men unlike North Korea. If Ahmadeinijad were calling the shots I would worry more.

I agree with him. Iran having nukes isn’t our concern. We should spend more time taking care of the US and less time pissing off the world.
