Surely, the person on the other end of the phone could quickly google the answer?
I’m pretty sure that they do sometimes (even sounds like you can hear them typing at times). When the contestant says an important word or phrase before reading the whole question I usually think that the other person is at their computer.
Within like 15 seconds after they’ve heard the question I doubt it.

I don’t think there’s a rule against that. but they only have 30 seconds. So the contestant has to read the question, and possible answers, then the friend has to give his/her opinion. 30 seconds isn’t a lot of time to do all that (although it seems like a lot when watching the show). Googling the question is possible, but there wouldn’t be much time to do so…

the contestant choose the person on life line and at ? must have
some kind of agreement with the show of course the contestant or the show has to give the person a notice so they can be reached on the phone so quick and of course they don’t reveal the question until they have to answer also the thirty minutes must be all the time they have because the show must go on.
